Senior Human Rights Adviser

Originally from the Solomon Islands, Rose has worked in the social development sector for more than 16 years across different Pacific Island countries on gender and women’s issues, youth development and child rights. Her experience encompasses managing social development programs, providing technical advice, and building capacity of governments and non-government organisations in the areas of human rights, gender and women’s development, youth development and child rights. Rose’s interest is in addressing social, cultural and legal barriers that prevent marginalised and most disadvantaged groups (women, youth, people with disability, the elderly and children) in Pacific island societies. She is the team leader for Outcome Area 1: Human Rights and Good Governance.
